Most entrepreneurs seeking external financing are interested in attracting private investors. An investor for a company is the most desirable solution. 

This is due to two main reasons.
Grants are only available to companies in certain industries that meet the criteria and have a contribution of their own.

Advantages of working with private investors

For the aforementioned reasons, cooperation with private investors is an attractive solution. In Poland, there are many individuals (business angels) as well as institutions (investment funds) interested in investing in companies. It is important, however, that these companies must meet the criteria set by the investors. 

Venture capital funds are primarily looking for innovative solutions with the ability to scale (expand) quickly overseas. If your business is more traditional, it's worth looking for investors among companies and individuals in your industry, including competitors.

Getting an investor is difficult. This is a fact, not an opinion. That's why it's worth backing yourself with the experience and contacts of an entity that has been in the field for years.

On the Polish market there are companies that promise to obtain financing from an investor for a minority stake for any business, only on the basis of a business plan and only for a commission. After signing the contract, however, it turns out that you have to bear the costs of, for example, translating documentation for foreign investors, making a business plan with this intermediary or incurring other "transaction costs." 

We recommend caution and thorough verification of the entity that promises to arrange financing. It is worth checking the opinions of past clients of such an intermediary, the business history of the contact persons (e.g. on LinkedIn) or to learn more about potential investors (a nice website in English should not be the only indicator of credibility).

The basic criteria that a company should meet in order for us to undertake investment brokerage

Company not in financial distress (no annual loss / high debt)
Presence of revenues (ideally, revenues are clearly increasing year-on-year or month-on-month in the most recent period)
Rational valuation of shares (e.g., based on profits generated or assets held by the company)
Have a professional business plan or investor presentation (if the company does not have such material, we can develop one).

What does an investor need?
An investor presentation or business plan is the basic material to be prepared. They should include a description of the business, its strengths and weaknesses, the competitive and market environment or capital requirements justified by professional financial projections.
What is an investor presentation?
This is a document similar to a business plan, but in a more visual form. It is usually about a dozen slides in length and is accompanied by a file with financial projections in excel. 
Offer to investor
It is also important to think in advance about a specific proposal for the investor. You should have a plan of what the investment amount will be used for and be able to justify such and not other use of funds.

Remuneration for attracting an investor

The only fee we charge for acquiring an investor is a commission on the funds raised (success fee). We do not charge any upfront fees or other hidden costs.

The billing model is transparent and beneficial to the client. Therefore, we reserve the selection of projects (Clients) that give a chance to actually finalize the process.

Acquiring an investor is usually a time-consuming and complicated process. It requires not only knowledge and experience, but also the use of one's network of contacts. With the above in mind, we do not undertake cooperation when the chances of finalizing a transaction are zero or minimal.
How much does it cost to get an investor?
The level of commission remuneration is negotiable (percentage package). Remuneration is payable only when the client receives funds from the investor.

The minimum amount is not less than PLN 30,000 net.

The contract you conclude with us does not oblige you to conclude a contract with the investor we find. You negotiate the final terms and make a decision on your own. You can also search for investors on your own in parallel or cooperate with other intermediaries. We do not require exclusivity.
